2013 At CBC
Community Baptist Church of Englewood has been very busy
since the start of 2013 and there are no signs of letting up. Since the
beginning, projects have been organized to minister to every age group, gender
and social needs.
The New Life Women’s Ministry began a series entitled “Lord
Change My Attitude” based upon the book of the same name by James
MacDonald that has proven to be an enlightening endeavor. To bring out the elegance in every woman and girl, their annual Ladies Night Out was a blast! Everything from vendors, massages, nail spa, a chocolate fountain and more spoiled the ladies rotten. The Impact Men’s
Ministry has gone fishing, while the youth had a marvelous time in Vacation
Bible School working off the theme Jesus the Family Reunion.
On top of everything, the Reverend Lester W. Taylor, Jr. celebrates his 20th anniversary as pastor. In his honor, the church hosted a banquet that boasted over 700 family members, friends, clergy and well wishers.
The fall will usher in their annual conferences, retreats,
concerts and theatrical productions. Visit www.cbcofe.net for more information.
