Jewelz Weston Productions in association with The Teen
Center of the Englewood Recreation Department, Englewood-NJ presented a free
Hip Hop Theatre Conservatory Intensive Program that began
on Saturday, Oct. 12th and ran every Saturday through Nov. 30th
for teens 13-18. Beginners acting and musical theatre was introduced to give a
taste of performance artistry for teens to learn valuable theatre techniques
while building self confidence as they tapped into their creative
sides.
Recording Artists Gospel Poet and Miza Mac from Key2L1fe Studios (Paterson) lent their rhyming skills to the group's talented repertoire. A special performance showcase ended the program. The successful
series was held at the Liberty School on 12 Tenafly Road Englewood,
NJ and will start again on January 25, 2014.
