“Mother of Hip Hop” Gets Her Own Place

The City of Englewood honored their very own by renaming part of West Street to Sylvia Robinson Place after the annual Juneteenth Parade Celebration on Saturday, June 14th. The Hip Hop Pioneer and co-founder of  Sugarhill Records, Sylvia Robinson was a long-time resident of Englewood.
