What a beautiful Tuesday, October 02, 2018 it is. I am exhaling much better now that the Sister Planets Showcase is done. Oh…my bad you didn’t know about the showcase? Well let me fill you in.

Once upon a time, there lived 2 sisters and these 2 sisters got together and decided, hmmmm, let’s create a world for talented people who needed a platform to exercise their creativity. One sister named Elaina Tamara, stirred up her musical, dance & production skills to bring her planet of performance arts to the galaxy. Gifted in many ways, this sister knows a thing or two about getting’ down! The other sister, Jewelz Weston - who’s love for words, characters & story-telling - brings an eclectic theatrical interplanetary frame to this cosmic mix. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Sister Planet Productions!

On Sunday, September 30, 2018, Elaina and I produced our 1st performing arts showcase and it was amazing!

The showcase featured young up and coming artists Alyssa Vargas (9), Kennedy Robins (13), Sierra Ethridge (17) and adult artists Azim Jenkins (narration/voice over) and Sumer Mullen who provided a lively character as our hostess. We began the project back in July with casting and rehearsed once a week on Sunday. The script (written by me) and the music (written by Elaina Tamara, mixed by Azim “Miza Mac” Jenkins & rap lyrics by Sierra Ethridge) was short and sweet just enough to get people to notice our brand and notice they did. The Clifton studios was the host venue and we packed the little 30-person room to overflow. 

The community also helped in our production. Alyssa’s mom Liseets Taveras provided photography and video support which was amazing! 

We are looking to relocate our company and are looking in the Bergen County, NJ area. Stay tuned for more!
